Question

No real support for LESS/SASS

Any edit in "CSS designer" or "inline editor" just changes the rendered css instead of the source, the less/sass file(s):

So any change to the css will be overwritten faster than you can say "save the less/sass file".

Is there any plan to fix this essential design flaw in Dreamweaver?

well we had such a thread by the past on the prerelease... no solution was chosen or at least applied.

for what I think there can only be two way... one or the other, but not both...

    1. CSS designer can edit the code... so it SHOULDN'T be allow to edit the final CSS file, but only the SASS/LESS files... ant for that that will implies that CSS design could write SASS/LESS content including directives, variables, specific functions and so on... so it must be very engeneer time consuming
    2. CSS is deactivated when using SASS/LESS preprocessors

How many LESS & SASS users would want to use the CSS designer panel?  I don't see it appealing to anyone except novice coders who are not likely to be using LESS & SASS in their workflow.
