Notifications gone nuts?

What's with the sudden influx of notifications. I had 44 yesterday and 59 today. Is it down to a forum software blip?

My Notifications panel was abbruptly wiped out yesterday while Khoros was performing forum updates. I reported the problem.

So far, only content from yesterday's posts are appearing in my panel. All previous days' posts are gone. I think they're still working on it.

I think they may be working ok now. All I got yesterday and today were numerous notifications from:
