What the Dell!, my old Win2K PC @ work is dying…
Dude, I’m getting a Dell, whether I wanted it or not... (I was hoping for a Shuttle XPC or a Mac...)

I need know of a Easy Way to transfer my Windows Access Database settings (Win2K PC) from ODBC Data Source Administrator to (XP Pro on a New PC) for use in Dreamweaver 8.

Thanks for all the help 8D
But I wound up doing it the hard way...

This web site is a mix of DSN & DSN-LESS db connections.
Some of the site is done in CodeCharge.... Don't get me started with that JunkWare.
That junk took out my PC!!! I had to do a total re-install.

You might want to think about using OLEDB. Here's an example:

MM_CharonCart_STRING = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=
c:\virtualroot\cartv3\db\charoncart3.mdb"

As a file path is used, it'll work on other machines with the same directory
structure.

I have never found an easy way .. I have just set up info as I needed it.
It really takes just a couple of minutes per connection.

However ... there may be a tool .. have you tried posting on a microsoft
newsgroup .. since this is not a Dreamweaver problem?
