OT: Anyone using Caspio yet?

I haven't used that particular program, but after a quick read they are not actually offering anything new, instead they have brought a lot of different apps together into one program.

The ability to convert excel or access to a mssql db, is built into both programs. The visual db creation has been a feature of the mssql db manager for years also, and most of the visual app creation tools are part of an additional program that comes with VS Pro, though it does require some programming to be done in that program.

Verdict, don't know, as without using it and seeing the code produced, plus seeing how it manages fringe cases, it would be wrong to comment further. I'm not happy about signing up to exclusive services, but it does show that static and small sites are not the be all and end all of the web, and happy to see that programs/apps are now starting to appear for more complexed sites/apps.
