You never use any other FTP program? How do you change upload
characteristics or have you just not had to? (Binary/ASCII)

It's worked for me. DW and Windows Explorer are all I have used for 7
years. But - I see your point.

very great thing.

That's not really what I wanted - I wanted to make sure that certain pages
on a site have read/write permissions set so that they could be modified by
FCKEditor.

Ah, I see. You can use the Authication server behaviours in the ASP model.
You can then control which pages people see.

There used to be a DW extension called Set Permissions. I remember it .. it
worked in the Site window .. I don't remember the details. I also could
have sworn I remembered this being added to the Results panel at some point
in time .. but I don't see it there now.

Oh .. I looked at the Exchange before hitting the send on this .. looks like
this was done during DMX 2004 .. may or may not work on DW8. Doesn't look
like it was updated after that, but it is free.
