OT - Mac Version of Firefox showing bogus link

Am in the process of updating a client's site, and she reports that when she visits a particular page using Firefox on her Mac, she gets a link to ads that is definitely not coded on the page. Doesn't seem to happen in any other browser. I've recommend she make sure she's using the most updated version of Firefox, but it seems weird to me that it happens only with Firefox and a Mac. Anyone else run into this anomoly?

Thanks,

Chris

Those ads are likely coming from an adware trojan that has taken control of her Firefox.   It happens a lot.

Unfortunately, anti-virus alone rarely gets rid of it.
