Hi,

Dreamweaver is placing templates in parent folder of my site rather than within the HTML folder (how I've done this with past sites). Could this cause issues?

thank you!

That's correct.  When you define your local site folder, you tell DW where your site root is located.  DW always places the Template folder inside your local site's root.   If it's moved, it won't work.

So if your local site folder is on C:\mySite\HTML\ then that's where you point DW.
