PDO Extension for DW CS4/5

Question

I have upload a basic PHP:PDO connection and Recordset Query creation extension for Dreamweaver to my web site - http://www.pziecina.com/design/dreamweaver/pdo_extension.php

This is only a trial version for testing purposes, please read the documentation completely before using the extension, (this extension is free, and will remain so).

Any problems/bugs that you find can be posted on this thread, but please do not post 'how do I' questions in this thread but create your own in the 'application development' section of the forum.

IMPORTANT: You CANNOT use pdo on any page containing the standard Dreamweaver server behaviours; in fact you cannot use ANY of the server behaviour functions currently provided for Dreamweaver on the same page, (this includes ALL 3^rd party PHP MySQL extensions that I currently know about).

You CAN use them on the same site though, and both types of behaviours will continue to work.

HiI have uploaded a pdf of the tutorial to my web site at, - http://www.pziecina.com/design/dreamweaver/pdo_extension.php.Why have I done this as a pdf?I am very busy over the next few weeks, and think that a rough-cut is better than no tutorial or a late html version.Everyone using the extension will have access to the Acrobat reader.Any changes are easier to incorporate in a pdf version.PZ
