Question

Performance issues with Dreamweaver

Since the last update, DW is very slow, going to top or bottom of the code takes almost 3 seconds (about 700 lines).

To open files, 100 lines, takes almost 5 seconds

Any ideas to improve?

Hi Cesarmaurmann,

Thank you for posting here. Before we proceed further, can you provide us with the following information:

- The OS that you are running DW on, and its version

- Does your computer meet the minimum system requirements for DW? Dreamweaver system requirements

- Does the slowness happen with all projects, or just some?

- Did you try restoring preferences? Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Try restoring preferences.

Thanks,

Preran

Are your local sites all defined and residing on your primary hard drive?  Example, C:\\MyTestSite.
