Question

phpMyadmin set up help

I'm working with David Powers PHP for Dreamweaver 8. I just installed MySQL and phpMyAdmin. Install seemed fine. When I try to view the phpMyAdmin/index.php
I have this error:
Invalid server index:""
Does anyone know how to fix this? What would the valid server index be?

I am on a Mac, OS Tiger. phpmyadmin version 2.9.2. MySQL version 5.0.27
My php files are located under HD/users/jp/Sites

Do you know what I can do to fix to make my test server work?
Thanks!

Try reading the book's updates and corrections page:

http://www.friendsofed.com/errata.html?isbn=1590595696

The answer has been there for a year. Unfortunately, phpMyAdmin changed
the installation procedure one day before the first printing hit
bookstores. It was updated for the second printing, and the installation
settings changed again.

Thanks David!
I forgot about the errata page. I copied one little piece of code and I now have a working phpMyadmin!
Now to the fun stuff ...
