Question

Positioning iframe

Hello all.

I've learned how to insert a YouTube video into Dreamweaver.  I can position the top margin of the video, however, I also want the video to be to the far right to fit in a designated area.  I don't know coding and am having a horrible time trying to do this.

I removed the video from the Animate file because the video playback was inconsistent once the page was uploaded to my site.  I'm hoping that if I embed the video from YouTube, this may correct the problem.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @tjlinzy,

When building a house, you need a floor plan and a solid foundation.  It's the same with web pages.  An artist starts with a rough sketch of where things should go and then builds on that.

So start your project with an HTML & CSS layout that contains enough grids or columns for each element you want placed on your page.   Then fill your grid with content.

    • So how many columns do you want on mobile, tablet and desktop?
    • Can you show us a rough sketch of what you have in mind?
    • What is the aspect ratio of your video (1:1, 4:3, 16:9 or 21:9)?
