"Preview In Browser" connecting to server while in local view

Hi All. In Dreamweaver, when I try to ‘Preview in Browser’ it automatically starts connecting to my remote server and putting files even though I have ‘Local view’ switched on in my work space which is in ‘Developer’ mode. Can anyone help please?

    Please disable the auto upload files  to server on save option from your site definition settings.

    When you preview in browser it should be using your testing server for the preview. What have you defined in your site settings as the testing server?
