Preview in Browser missing at first start up

Every time I start up Dreamweaver the Preview in Browser box is blank (see screenshot).

If I close the app and then start it up again, it usually loads the options the second time, but today it only worked on the third attempt.

I have to go through this procedure every time I start it which is a pain.

Is there a way to fix or avoid this?

I am using the latest DW 21.3 on Mac OS Sonoma.

Thanks

x

Restoring DW Preferences takes care of most problems.

However if it persists, you'll want to ensure that your graphics drivers are compatible with your video card.  Install the latest drivers from the card maker's website.

Good luck!

I have restarted Dreamweaver a few times and so far it's picking up the browsers. It's also added Chrome to the browser list automatically which was missing before.

So hopefully resetting the preferences has fixed it.

Thank you x

Hi Ben, thank you for your quick reply. I am on Sonoma 14.4 already, will try the other options and see if they help next time I start up.

Thanks again x

If you are not already, please make sure you update Sonoma beyond 14.3 as prior to that release there were many known bugs. Then I would try resetting preferences? https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver.html#:~:text=Hold%20down%20the%20Windows%20key,Preferences%20dialog%20box%2C%20click%20Yes.

If that doesn't work, I would also consider re-installing.
