To clarify, you either purchased a 1 year plan or a monthly plan which auto renews each month until you cancel.   Trial members have 7 days to evaluate the software for free. You have 14 days to cancel & request a refund.

To use Creative Cloud, you need a min of Mojave or higher. Adobe expects users to have the latest OS, no more than 2 versions back.  For this reason, pre-2020 versions are not offered through the CC Desktop App.

 

Please ensure your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to run Creative Cloud + OS + all other apps you use. Check each one.

If you click on the All Apps button in the CC App you can view the apps in a list.  Then click on the 3 dots for the menu next to Install and there you will see the option for Older Versions and you can install the previous version which is compatible with your OS.
