Problem syncing site [was:Hi Everyone]

Hi everyone. I now have my website finished and online thanks to your previous assistance on a couple of occasions. I noticed a couple of things I wanted to change and made these changes in my local site. I tried syncing them to the remote site, but the changes are not showing ONLINE. What is the sure proof way that any changes made will be updated online. Is there an easy straightforward way to copy the local site changes to the remote and then work online. In version DW8 all I had to do was click on the file in the local site and drag over and drop on the same file in the remote site and click on REFRESH. don't see any refresh facility on CC2017. Thanks for any help.

Personally, I don't have much use for file sync.   I use the tried and true method of right clicking on the local site folder.  Select > Recently Modified.  With files highlighted, I use PUT or UP arrow to upload.    See screenshot.

Hi Rudy,

The refresh button is in the bottom left-hand corner of the Files panel.

Did you receive any messages suggesting a problem when you synched your site? Are you sure that you’re not looking at a cached version of the site in your browser?

If you expand the Files panel so you can see both the local and remote files and then right-click in the bar above the file names and switch the date modified option on, do the files on the remote server have the same dates as the local ones?

More info on modifying the files panel at https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/files-folders.html.

I hope that helps,

Julian
