Question

Problem with Dreamweaver. My computer says Dreamweaver code is outdated.

What are other people using instead of Adobe Dreamweaver? My 2021 program has messages that popup saying it is using insecure code. Addtionally, I have been using it for many years and recently it has not been putting photos in Tables, that it had no problem doing a year ago. Is Adobe ever going to update Dreamweaver. I create my own websites and use Dreamweaver to create content. Is there a more modern program that is as easy to use as Dreamweaver?

Dreamweaver or any other code editor is only as good as the coder using it.  If you insist on using outdated web practices & insecure web technologies, that's entirely on you, not the tools you use.

My guess without seeing a line of code is that old habits die hard, and you've been skating by for longer than you should. Now it's coming back to bite you.

Post the URL to your problem page on-line.  We'll take a look at what's going on.

Insofar as easy website creation tools, online services are probably your best option. They don't require you to have coding skills or advanced knowledge about web security. That's all handled for you by the online platform. But you pay for that ease of use.

ONLINE SITE BUILDERS:

-- Webflow - https://webflow.com
-- Wix - https://www.wix.com/
-- WordPress - https://wordpress.com/

Hope that helps.

Can you share the screenshot about insecure code and the actual code snippet that is being called out? This will help us to provide you with guidance as to how to update your page.

I forgot to mention that I use it on my new Macs, an M-1 an M-4.
