Problem with files palette

I'm having a problem with the presets menu in the Files palette. There are too many items being unpacked that are not related to Dreamweaver files. Some of them are repeated several times. The most "junk" is from the backup items from the Time Machine backup disk on the Mac. After reinstalling Dreamweaver it cleared up but within half a day it filled up again. Does anyone know what to do with it? Thanks.

Yes, I use Time Machine, but there aren't only ".backup" files. There are also disk images, but they are repeated several times. Can't it be filtered out somewhere in the presets? What are you doing (other Mac and TimeMachine users)? Is it showing up like this for anyone else?

Yes, this has been reported by other Mac users.  No it can't be filtered. It's not a Dreamweaver issue.  It's caused by your operating system's Time Machine backups. Turn off Time Machine or adjust your TM backup settings.

You should not be showing that folder! If Dreamweaver has been setup correctly, then the site's root folder will show here.

Download Dreamweaver and get started. (adobe.com)

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

This is not the content on the site, but the listing of the internal menu when I want to select a separate presentation. Normally it should look something like this (see picture) and not like mine.

Are you using Apple Time Machine?

Time Machine generates automatic file backukps.

That's not a Dreamweaver problem.  It's an Apple Time Machine problem.

Hope that helps.
