Problems with using Dreamweaver 8 on Windows 10

I have recently updated my laptop to Windows 10.   I updated my home page and uploaded it with changes to my web site using Dreamweaver 8.  The updates do not show up on my web site even though I have tried it several times.  (I have cleared the cache.)  Please can you help?

    Did you install the 8.02 update?

    Did you upload to the proper root directory on your hosting server -- public_html/, www/ or htdocs/ ?  Root varies by hosting plan.  If unsure, check with your hosting provider.

     

    Or you could be at the critical end of the road where the outdated software you're using won't play nice with your modern operating system and server.  A lot has changed in the 15 years since DW8 came out.

     

    Try uploading files with Filezilla FTP Client:
