I am trying to put a website online, and i keep getting this error message when i try to put my navbar on the remote server.

Started: 6/6/08 4:22 PM

/web/Nav Bar - error occurred - Unable to create remote folder /web/Nav Bar. Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem. Make sure you have proper authorization on the server and the server is properly configured.

File activity incomplete. 1 file(s) or folder(s) were not completed.

Files with errors: 1
/web/Nav Bar

Finished: 6/6/08 4:23 PM

basically the navbar consists of a sliced up photoshop image with some rollover images within it, also i have an additional navbar in the site that was built the same way and i get the same error message. does anyone know how to fix this??

thanks

Hi QuestionEqualsExclamation:

If there is a folder named Nav Bar that you are trying to put on your
server, I suggest strongly that you rename it to Nav_Bar or NavBar and
get rid of that space character in the folder name.

You can rename it in the Dreamweaver Files panel and allow Dreamweaver
to automatically update all links to files in that folder before
uploading the folder.
