Has Dreamweaver added ED25519 Key support yet?

Here we are many years later, and everytime I try to connect to my servers with Dreamwaeaver using ED25519 Keys, it never seems to work.

I have been connecting this way fine with many other programs for years now.

It would be nice if Adobe would bring this up to date so it actually works.

Which version of Dreamweaver CC do you have? What type of identity key file are you using?

The latest Dreamweaver CC supports only OpenSSH key files.

See related help article below for more details on using SFTP connections in DW.

Failing that, use free FileZilla S/FTP client.

But isn't ED25519 a supported key used by openSSH, since openSSH 6.4 ?

Yes and some people still try to use the wrong type of personal key file with DW then wonder why it doesn't work.

To be more precise, Dreamweaver does not support .ppk file. Use a .pem file instead and it should work.
