Hi Verma

I got the same problem here

All my files are lock after I have change to Dreamweaver 2020 from a old version.
"Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded"
What to do here?

Best regards
Tommy

I have branched this to a new discussion for you.

It sounds like you're attempting to edit child pages that were spawned from Dreamweaver Templates.

    • Are you working within a defined local site folder?  Site > Manage Sites > Example, C:\MySite\
    • Does your local site contain a Templates folder?
    • Can you edit the main .dwt file?

In case Harshika does not answer, please note that this problem has been solved. If you cannot solve the problem using the same solution, then your problem will be different.

In that case, please start a new discussion with a better explanation. The best way to do this is to give us the URL to the site so that we can see the code.
