record update page problem

why in God's name can no one answer this simple question... is it because dreamw has a bug?????

I am using drmw8; access 2003; asp.net.
I want to create a record update form.
I make my dataset, no problem.
When I insert a record update form with the wizard... drmw is always asking to choose a unique column, while this is already done, the "ID" from my database.
When I make my page "with the hand" (binding textfields to the fields from my database within a form, and then inserting the server-behavior), it is asking always te same question.

This problem I do not have when using ASP., only ASP.NET.

What is the qustion? You say dw asks for you to choose a unique
column. Well choose it.

Not getting an answer: From what I have seen few people use dw for
.net because of the low level of implementation of .net in dw. Many
are choosing M$'s product for that.

Have you defined the field as a unique key in the database?
