recordset paging troubleshooting

Question

can someone please show/explain how the recordset paging
works in dw8? i applied the server behavior to a recordset repeat
region to display 40 records, 20 per page. the showif regions show,
but the next page has no records, just the showifs. anyone know
what is passed in the URL? i went back and rebuilt the page, but
had the same results. all help appreciated.
