Reinstalling CS3

Further to my request for help on Re: Removing Dreamweaver for reinstall

I followed the processes and eventually was able to download CS3.

So the programs are now installed but I cannot open them.

Perhaps the reason is that as the C: drive crashed I was not able to deactivate the program at Adobe.

When I try to open Dreamweaver or other applications I see the revolving ring but nothing opens.

John,

The old CS3 Activation servers were retired for technical reasons.  You cannot use your old CS3 any longer.     You must get the replacement installer and new serial number that does not require activation.   For complete details, see the correct answer in link below.

Re-activating CS3 (Updated)

You will need full admin level permissions to install your replacement version.
