Reinstalling old versions

After a CPU power failure I have a new desktop and am reinstalling software. I have successfully been using old versions of Macromedia Studio MX 2004; I know Adobe does not support these versions any longer, but they still work for me and I want to reinstall. My MX version installed fine and I was able to input my product key without it needing to validate with Adoble. However, my MX 2004 version was an upgrade, and when I enter my product key, it wants to register online or by phone. I know Adobe won't accept the registration any longer, so is there any way to use my MX 2004 software any more?

Those old activation servers were taken offline many years ago.   See the link below.

Even if you get MX to work again, you shouldn't be using outdated web authoring software.  Far too many changes have occurred in web standards since 2004.  Brackets is a better option and it's free.
