Remote server files not updated [Branched to new topic]

Question

I am having the same problem.  I have not used Dreamweaver for a few years and am a bit rusty. How do I know if I am sending the files to the server's root directory.  Am I supposed to have something where it says Host Directory?  I have attached my remote information

The topic to which you posted has been answered. So I moved your question to a new topic.

Go to Site > Manage Sites. Select your site and click on Servers tab. See screenshot.

Enter your server log-in credentials and ROOT directory. The ROOT directory varies by hosting plan. If unsure, contact your hosting provider for details.

Click the TEST button to confirm connection.
