Reopen Documents on Startup not working

Hello.

I'm using Dreamweaver CC 2017.1 Build 9583 on Mac 10.11.6.

In the open application, I go to File > Open Recent and at the bottom of that menu is "Reopen Documents on Startup". I can either check or uncheck that option, but I have mine checked.

My expectation is that, with that option checked, the next time Dreamweaver opens all of the documents I was previously working on will automatically reopen. However that's not the case, even with that option being checked.

Anyone know how to make all of my docs automatically open when I restart Dreamweaver?

Thanks in advance,

Rich

Nope, but one of the first things I do when DW starts doing things it's not supposed to (or not doing things it is supposed to) is clear the program cache...

    Deleting a corrupted cache file

If that doesn't take care of it, sometimes renaming the entire personal configuration folder itself (from the above link) will clear the issue.

A third, much more invasive option (if you have a lot of user-added items), is to restore preferences...

Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Try restoring preferences.

The documents need to have been saved at some point, and left open in DW when you close the program out, in order for them to open automatically when you restart using that option.

Understood, and those are the exact conditions that I'm working under.

Any ideas why DW is still not reopening my docs upon Reopen?

    Thanks Jon,

    Rich
