Question

Same folder, javascripts have different fonts

I open two different javascripts (*.js) in one of my folders and get the javascript displayed in two different fonts; one is in Courier and the other is in what looks to be some sort of Arial bold. If I rename the "Arial" one to another name I still get the "Arial" when I open it, BUT if I copy the javascript into another file, store this new file into the same folder, using the original file name, then it will open in the Courier font. I can't find out where DW is saving the "preferred font" for the "Arial" page.

Has anyone seen this behavior...and a solution?

And, PLEASE don't tell me to go to "Preferences." If you think that is the answer read my problem statement above again. I have multiple javascripts in the same folder that display with different fonts. "Preferences" will NOT solve this.

BTW, this is also happening with ASP scripts, so it is also not a "javascript" problem.

Followup to the question:

This does not seem to be tied to any particular language, etc. I have another site that is PHP and some of the code pages are being displayed "Arial?" and some are displayed "Courier".
