SASS compiler intermittently buggy

Has anyone else had this problem. I setup the very basics of SASS compiler:
- Enable Auto Compilation on Save
+ Same Folder as Source and set a source folder

It will sometimes just stop compiling and I have to restart DW or reboot, very annoying.

Am using up to date Mac DW CC.

of course the structure used to compile scss into css has nothing to do with the problem you are having.

the file structure that I advised you is a note that may be of interest if you decide to actually change the CSS in a WordPress powered site, instead of the structure you presented

I get that you have no probs under Windows 10 - maybe it is a mac thing.

The file structure or Wordpress issues are not relevant to the issue.

Aside from when I use the source files from Bootstrap 4, I do not have a problem with Sass in Dreamweaver. This will probably not help you, but you have not given us any information as to how you have structured the file system.

I have a source folder where I place the source files

and a production folder where the compiled versions are saved.

Note also that all of my partials are prefixed with an underscore.

The reason that I cannot use Dreamweaver to compile Bootstrap 4 source files is because they require an auto-prefixer. I now use Prepros for my Bootstrap 4 sites.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

Thanks for reply. I am just starting a WP site, and for now this is very simple structure at the moment with just 2 imports.
The bugs happens in many different sites though I can get SASS working sometimes straightaway sometimes I have to open close DW or reboot to get compiler to start, most often when it is working will just stop compiling at some stage.
