Saving a Dreamweaver template
When I save a .php page as a template, I always get the extension *.dwt.php. Is this correct or do I delete the .php at the end of page name? I am using Dreamweaver 2018 and on a Windows 10 Computer.

No. If your template contains PHP code, it should be named with the appropriate extension -- dwt for template and php for the code base.
