Question

Saving multiple files for previewing websites

Hello. Whenever I want to save multiple files for preview, I get an error message saying "Save all the files, including related files to preview". Like I just completed a pretend website, and all the sudden I wanted to add more pages. I name the pages with a .html at the end. It still gives me the same error message. I tried all the trouble shooting information and watched Youtube videos but they were not helping me well. I was hoping to get some help resolving this issue.

Thanks.

Regardless of whether you're saving to preview files locally or upload them to your server, that's not an error message.  And you still haven't answered my earlier question about defining a local site folder.  That is a critical first step.  Dreamweaver cannot manage site assets for you without one.

Sorry but I don't understand the problem.  That's not an error message.  It's a warning prompting you to save your files. What happens when you hit the YES button?.

Are you working in a defined local site folder?

I'm just saving as an html file. I am not actually putting up my website live.

In reality, you are putting your website live, just not on a remote server.
