Search and Find & Replace don't work for large files

Hello,

Dreamweaver almost systematically crashes when I'm using the search or find & replace function for large websites (over 2000 files).

I've had the same problem for years, but it's worse everyday, because my websites have more and more pages

Any idea how I could use this function?

I asked the same question 1 year ago here and a person adviced me to  purchase a computer with a better processor and more Ram.  I did it. Now when Dmweaver crashes the use of memory and processor remains low.

I've tried the chat support three times but lost my time with incompetent people struggling to create a new website (my PC is in French) with 2 files and showing that it works.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
