Sonoma, Crashes on Right-Click [WAS: While copy-pasting]

Hello. I'm using Dreamweaver. While copy-pasting, the program often freezes and I have to close it. I couldn't find a solution. I would be very happy if anyone who has an idea shares it.

My MacOs Sonoma version is 14.2.1. I haven't received an update yet. I only experience the problem in the code section and only in dreamweaver.

If you are on a computer you can update yourself, open the system settings --> general --> software update to trigger the update. This will resolve your issue as the issue was on Apple's end.

If your computer is restricted by a corporate policy, you will need to reach out to your IT department to explain the situation to request the update. As of 14.3 the issue is resolved. 14.3.1 is an unrelated update, but DW works under that as well and is the latest stable release of the OS.

1. Copy & paste requires a fair amount of free RAM memory.

Try restarting your computer.

2. Validate your document and fix reported errors.

Window > Results > Validation...  check document.

3. Restore Preferences.

Hope that helps.

I did what you said, but it didn't work. There is a situation like this: If I select a section in the code section, right click, do not click copy, do not deselect it, and try to move the mouse and select a new area, it freezes. I would be happy if you help solve it. It wasn't there before, but it appeared later and I didn't change any settings.

I can't reproduce the problem on my end.

Which operating system do you have?

A known issue with Right-Click was reported by Sonoma users. Apple was supposed to fix it in an update.
