Looks like it does include PayPal Payments Pro, so that's cool. But I wass able to cusotmize that with eCart relatively easy. And the ecommerce suite comes with plenty of other tools that kick ass.

Try MX Kart from Interaktonline.com
I got it for $99 and it is great with very good customer service. It was an offer and I don't know how much you have to pay for now.

The first thing I see is a big PURCHASE button that sends you to a power pack for $370.00. You can get the entire ecommerce suite from webassist for $399.99 which has much more than this power pack seems to provide. And all of the code is easily viewable and customizable.

Am i missing something?

I use the WebAssist eCart and I love it. For the time it saves you it's well worth the money. And while you have to pay for it, you can see all of the code. So call it what you want as far as open-source. Even if you find source code to use you'll have to spend time customizing it. eCart would be done in a snap.

you can try oscommerce for an open source php shopping cart. just google it for more opensource carts. also if you want to buy, go in for cartweaver for php. i have heard it costs $250 and it has a wizard interface and it integrates with dreamweaver.
