Special characters must be escaped

Hi,

I'm new to coding and I have this code for my website:

but I changed the source for the image and it stopped working and I can't figure out what's wrong with it. On the error line it says "Special characters must be escaped: [ < ]"

Also if you could tell me how to get the link to open in another tab I would really appreciate it.

No, I do not see a stray [ < ] in the code that you have provided. To be able to help you further, we would need to be privvy to all of the code.

To open the link in a new window, add _blank to the link as in

which will result in

<a href="#" target="_blank">

On the error line it says "Special characters must be escaped: [ < ]"

This is most likely due to a stray [ < ] in your code.

Also if you could tell me how to get the link to open in another tab I would really appreciate it.

Not sure what you mean by another tab.

Do you see any stray [<] on the image above? That's the code that I'm using.

And by another tab, I mean that when you're on the website and you press the link I want it to open the facebook page in another tab or window, so it doesn't take them out of the website.
