Question

Sprungmarken

I think you're refering to the "Go To" command.

Ctrl + G , type line number, hit Enter.

Hope that helps.

Hi Nancy

since I am mostly working on code (php), I am altering the text, the code lines. Hence the line numbers shift and stop being a reliable jump2target
But often I have to look up something at another postition within the actual file ... or to copy & paste something ... then the jump-to-own-mark thing would be very handy to return to the original position.

And as mentioned, other code editors had this feature, Delphi Pascal IDE for example.
Btw. in DW I use ctrl-F(ind) and an hopefully unique key word to 'return' to the original position.

Andreas,
very old & product user & make of marmelade (not jam!)

Dreamweaver is not other code editors.  It is what it is.
