Successful Connection to database but cant "see" tables

I just hooked up with a new host, I have worked with .asp pages in the past and been able to connect, and work with data in a database, so I am not a complete idiot when it comes to the subject.

I know its not the best way to go about it but I use MICROSOFT ACCESS for my database and do not want to move all my data to a sql database.

With this new host I am able to make a successful (dreamweaver kick back the successfully connected message) connection to my database. However when I go to create any type of recordset, I cannot "see" any tables or data for that matter in my database.

I have spent hours with their tech support online ( I cannot reach them on the phone) and have gotten 0 Help from them along with not getting the problem resolved.

Has anyone had this problem before and been able to work it out or figure out what the problem is ?????

I use the new host as my Remote connection as well as my testing server.

It does look like the same issue and you will have to install the extension plus the other stuff. Soo this page, and scroll down to where it talks about the issue:

What version of Dreamweaver are you using? There is a known issue with 8 where this happens and an extension and procedure to fix it. Part of the process is to remove your connection scripts. I've also had the problem in CS3, where removing the connnection scripts and redefining the connection worked.

Hi, thanks for trying to help... I am using Dreamweaver MX 6.0 I have tried not only using a DSN created on the server ( Which I can see and get a successful connection to. Also with DSNless Connections. I have also tried deleting all my connection scripts and re- creating them. Again I get a successful connection and cannot see any tables in my database.

Could this be a permission issue with the database folder on the server ? I am pretty sure they are all set up correctly but this is very strange that I can connect but not see any tables.

Thanks again for the help

I ALSO ADDED A VIDEO THAT CAN BE VIEWED OF MY CONNECTION INFORMATION AND THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING
