Is their a way in DreamWeaver to update a server and make it sync with another server. For example if you have a sandbox server and after you finish changes on the files, you want to publish the updates to your main server. The only way I found is to update manually all the files.

In other words I have only SandBox + Remote , I dont have Local

I want to be able to update after finishing working on the SandBox not live update.

Also I want to enable update for specific folder not all files.

Is that doable on Dreamweaver?

  • In that case you will have the Sandbox = Testing and Remote = Remote
  • The files are sync'ed only after clicking the Sync button
  • You can choose the files do sync

If you make the sandbox your testing server and the other server your remote, then you can sync between the two.

I want to do the sync after finishing testing, I don't want them to be in sync in real time.

How to synchronize files on your local and remote sites in Dreamweaver

You have the site setup as local and sandbox.

Add to that the remote and change to the remote server when you need to sync sandbox to remote.

This is relatively easy to do from the command line using rsync.
