System malfunction?

Question

I am working on Dreamweaver 4 recently upgraded to
Dreamweaver 8.
When I set up a new site in the Site Advanced mode and put in
the necessary information to ftp, ie username and password, the
program is fine. If I then close down and start up again these two
spaces are blank and I have to re-insert the two items of detail.
I would be most grateful if any of you experts could please
tell me what to do

assuming you have the "Save" option selected, see in Adobe site the TN
3491671c. the problem is related to IE7/Windows register
