Tables how to?

Hi There,

 

I want to implement the possibilty for my customer to use tables. Unfortunately it is not possible to use them as described in the manual.

I can't select cells or columns, copying them isn't possible either.

Selecting a column by hovering over the top border is impossible too 😞

 

Does somebody know if there have to be further settings made or something else might be missing?

I am using DW 2020 Build 15196

    It sounds to me like you may be in Live View instead of Design View.

    1. Go to Window > Toolbars and verify you have Document checked...


    2. In the Document Toolbar, click the small triangle and choose Design from the pop up...



    That should get the interface to act as described. The Live View Editor doesn't do things quite the same way Design View does.
