Template controls cannot be activated, DW2021

Yes, I did; it's a new Windows 11. It's a bit more complicated now, though, as not long after my posting, after three days of fretting about this, both Insert>Template and Tools>Templates were magically active -- but shortly afterward they were gone again. I think it has to do with the way I was working with my pages, and probably I just need to spend some more time learning the different way of working with them -- I'm transitioning from the 2008 Dreamweaver, and so far there's a lot that's different but so far it's all there, and I mangled a copy of trial pages into good form. Thanks indeed for your reply; I'll be back if necessary, but I hope not.
