TOOLS>INSERT>TEMPLATES Stopped Working

My Imac was running of od disk so I bought a new 20T WD External Drive

I moved my site from the internal drive to the external drive.

I edited my webpages as usual just changing Dreamweaver to point to the external drive.

For the first time I added a new page and then I went to TOOLS>INTERT>TEMPLATES, the option did not work (i.e. nothing happened). 

When I went to select my standard template, there was nothing there so I guess my templates did not move with the site move?

How to I get the select template feature to work again?
