Trouble with new upgrade to Dreamweaver, on PC.

Just upgraded to new Dreamweaver on PC. Trouble with arrow selection on menus. Selects certain 'fields' but locks me out of others!! Dreamweaver worked OK before this, but I did have trouble with Chapter 4 of  'Dreamweaver- classroom in a book' in that the coding was having a 'wobbley'! I followed the inputting as in the book, but no luck. I tried three times to do Chapter 4. Can anybody HELP!

A big THANK YOU to Adobe for sorting Dreamweaver out on my laptop. Had trouble with menu bar and was basically locked out of Dreamweaver.

Next step is Chapter 4 of  Adobe Dreamweaver - classroom in a book - have to see how this goes. Once again Many thanks!

Personally l don't understand anyone wanting to commit too much time to learn Dreamweaver when Adobe have practically abandoned it themselves. It's like a dead end road without any new features forthcoming. The web moves on at lightning pace, Dreamweaver is swimming around in circles waiting for the sharks.

Can you post a screenshot in your web forum reply?  I don't know if you're asking about the onboard menus in DW's application Toolbar or something else.   As @BenPleysier said, we have no idea what "Chapter 4 from CIB" contains or which version of the book you're using. 

 

Does your computer meet or exceed minimum CPU & GPU requirements? Most Creative Cloud apps work on:

Trouble with using new download/installation of Dreamweaver. Can't access Menu bar and therefore can't use Dreamweaver. Use a PC/laptop with windows 11 Home. Could use Dreamweaver before this, but had trouble with Chapter 4 of 'Dreamweaver - classroom in a book'. Computer threw a wobbley!!! Can anybody help?

I do not know the book that you are reading from, let alone know what goes on in chapter 4. If you want our help, please copy and paste the code here.
