Trying to relocate the Main html to a file

I was cleaning up my root menu and deleted a file that messed up my page. I saved a backup to my hard drive just incase that happened. The back up still does not work as well as the original and I need to relocate that file. When I try to relocate the file, the file will not open correctly.

Please help!

    I'm not really sure what you're telling us.

    You deleted a file.  And now you want to recover it?

    Did you check your recycle bin?

    Without seeing the code of your page, and getting a better explanation of what is going wrong, there's really not much the contributors here can do to help you.

    Could you post a link to your work on your server and offer a better explanation of "still doesn't work" so we can take a look and offer advice?
