un-install DW CS4

I have been trying to un-install Dreamweaver CS4 from my old iMac and my old Macbook Pro.

I have ensured that I am connected to the internet.

When I try to un-install Dreamweaver on both machines I get a message saying "you are not connected to the internet" and "contact Adobe help"

Anybody got any ideas ?

This can happen when the host files are blocking access. Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Just as a matter of interest, why would I have to be connected to the internet to un-install Dreamweaver when I have the install disc ?

When DWCS4 was registered, there would have been an entry made into the Adobe Customer database. This will restrict the installation of the program to two computers. When uninstalling, the database entry will be removed allowing you to install the program on another system.

Having said that, I do not think that the database entries still exist for DWCS4. But at least the explanation is there.
