I tried to download the example files from David Powers new book "Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5 Studio Techniques: Designing and Developing for Mobile with jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3" and noted that they downloaded as a  1.65 dwmobile.zip file. When I attempt to extract the file using Windows 7, they will not extract or open. Whats up with this?

Don't know. I've just downloaded the files and extracted them on Windows 7 without problems (although I'm using WinZip, not the Windows extraction utility). I also downloaded and the files without problems on Mac OS X 10.6.

Which browser did you use? I used Firefox on Windows and Safari on Mac. Sometimes browsers do weird things when downloading compressed files.

Wow, that's the wierdest thing! I use the big four when it comes to browsers. (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE), but out of dumb habit I grab IE, generally before any of the others, although, Firefox is generally getting more of my screen real estate these days.

At any rate, once agian, I attempted to download the file(s) usig IE and got the same result, that is Windows 7 would not extract the .ziped file either from a saved file on my desktop, or natively within the browser window as a "open file' choice.

So, thanks to your post above, I used my Firefox, and was able to open the folder within the browser window to copy (and subsequently newFolderPaste) the files.

I've never seen that before. Thanks!!
