Unable to reinstall Dreamweaver 2014 from new CC panel

My Windows 10 laptop had a problem and I had to reinstall Windows 10, which deleted all of my programs.

I still use Dreamweaver 2014 because of its fluid grid layouts coding properties. I have 60 clients with responsive layouts coded using it.

Now that I have downloaded the CC tool, I can't find Dreamweaver 2014 in the Other Version area to install. Dreamweaver only goes back to version 18.2.

So how can I get hold of Dreamweaver 2014 to reinstall on my computer?

Thanks for any help given here. I need to be able to easily edit my clients code as needed. And I need the fluid grid capabilities of Dreamweaver 2014 to do this (fluid grid disappeared in later versions).

Jeff,

Legacy Fluid Grids don't exist in the current versions of DW.  If they did, this wouldn't be an issue.  The last version to support Fluid Grids was 2014.  Are you saying the chat agents cannot provide users with a link to 2014 even though it's essential to the user's workflow?

You are correct, Nancy.  Our chat agents will be unable to provide downloads of Dreamweaver CC 2014.  The only possible exception would be for a CCT or CCE members if they have a business need for that version of Dreamweaver.

For individual members, the earliest version available of Dreamweaver being made available is currently Dreamweaver CC 2015.

Nancy, is there a migration process to address the lack of Fluid Grids in later versions of Dreamweaver CC?

I don't know how you can stand working with those legacy Fluid Grids.  They were so temperamental.  I much prefer working with Bootstrap.

To answer your question, beginning in May, Adobe did away with legacy versions.  Going forward the CC Desktop App contains only the current version and the one previous to it.  If you need a legacy download, you'll have to contact Customer Care.  Click the chat bot icon in the lower right, select Downloads and type AGENT.   If the agent gives you any trouble, ask for a supervisor.

Thanks for that info Nancy. Very helpful.

Yes the visual element never really worked. But the code itself has been great. I spent 6 months learning it and have a lot of client website templates in fluid grid layouts, so I still use it a lot.

Thanks.
