Unable to upload DW files with FTP or Fetch

I cannot preview with Firefox all DW files which before could be previewed. The new files created could not be upload using FTP of Fetch.
FTP says "file connection incomplete file not complete; put operation failed "file.htm does not exist in local site"
Fetch says "could not put 'file.htm' because FTP server encountered an error accessing file; server responded:file.htm:access denied" what may have gone wrong?

Your FTP information must be wrong.

I am getting the “access denied” message from Fetch.

I was entering the correct password, at least it was enough to upload my site originally.

What about the Dreamweaver CC FTP?

What about the Dreamweaver CC FTP?

You can try it, of course, but it is generally not as robust as standalone FTP programs. Since you are having trouble with Fetch, trying the DW FTP might be a place to start your troubleshooting.

One possibility is that your server has blocked FTP access from your IP address. For instance, my server will block an IP after 3 failed log-in attempts.

Another possibility could be that the directory permissions on the server have changed.

Another possibility is that you are pointing the FTP connection to a directory that the FTP account does not have access to.
