Updating Files / Inconsistent Feature

Inconsistent Feature: When Dreamweaver shows the html-page on the viewing area, an updated jpg-image may not show up properly, but the older version shows. So, does Dreamweaver Put a wrong file to the server, or at least different from what was shown to the user. This could be misleading when updating content for web. Thanks.

    Not sure what you're saying.

    1. Save File, Preview in Browser.

    2. Hit Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+R to refesh your browser's cached memory.

    Is that the correct image?

To update images on the server, highlight the file in your Files Panel and click on the UP Arrorw.

    Works everytime for me.

No, this issue refers to updating a jpg-image manually in a local website-folder, and how Dreamweaver user interface keeps up with such files. Thanks.

When you changed the image, did you also change the image source? This is not automatically done by Dreamweaver.
