several times now my css work is gone and dreamweaver has add R in red with deleted code. I have to close the file without saving to get back to my work so that it is not lost.

I'm just trying to use dreamweaver as a text editor only. I do my git in terminal and run gulp in terminal.  If there is no help for this I will have to start using atom and leave dreamweaver after using it since 1997 when it was macromedia.

I can't work in it right now with this issue. It is extremely disruptive.
